Our crew, is yours too.
What's the difference between a budget and a cash flow forecast?
A budget sets profit targets for a period. A cash flow forecast shows the timing of money in and out, which is what decides whether you can pay bills.
How far ahead should I forecast?
At least 13 weeks for cash, and 12 months for planning. We update both as things change.
Can you build forecasts in Xero?
We use your Xero data as the base and build forecasts alongside it.
Why is my business profitable but short on cash?
Usually timing: customers paying late, stock, loan repayments, or tax and BAS falling due together. A forecast shows these before they hit.
How often should I review my forecast?
Monthly as a minimum, and before any big decision.
