Businesses with an annual turnover of $75,000 or more are required to register for GST. If your business has an annual turnover below this threshold, you are able to but not required to register for GST. You will only be required to charge your customers GST if you are registered.

Single Touch Payroll is an Australian Government initiative to reduce the burden on employers when reporting to government agencies. With STP, you report employees' payroll information to us each time you pay them through STP-enabled software. We are able to assist you with registration for Single Touch Payroll if you require.

An annual review is a yearly assessment to ensure that ASIC is up to date with your company’s current details and its ability to pay its debts. Your company's annual review usually takes place on the same date that your company was registered.

FBT is a tax that employers pay on benefits paid to an employee (or their associate, such as a family member) in addition to their salary or wages. FBT is calculated on the taxable value of the benefits you provide. This is separate to income tax.
